Wood Pellet Screener

The Screening Solution for the Biomass Industry

The Gentle Roll™ Wood Pellet Screener is the only screener to condition pellets while sifting. Unlike other screeners that shake or vibrate, the Gentle Roll™ gently moves pellets through a non-vibrating, rotary system to remove fine particles and overs.

As the demand for quality biomass products continues to grow, the need for equipment with the capability of meeting the demand does too. The Gentle Roll™ Wood Pellet Screener increases product quality by eliminating fines and overs before packaging.

You will gain a competitive edge in the wood pellet industry by making your product quality stand out. The time-proven reliability and quality of the Gentle Roll™ make it the perfect solution for all your pellet screening needs.

Why condition wood pellets?

As the pellets gently tumble through the rotary drum, the pellet flashings/burrs are removed creating polished ends. As a result, potential fines created due to material handling decrease, while product quality increases.

Gentle Roll™ Wood Pellet Screener Facts

Typically, two to three screens are needed to effectively remove fines. (Up to five screens available on Gentle Roll™ models.)

The Gentle Roll™ uses simple gravity and mild centrifugal force to remove fines. The drum and screen rotate together as one assembly to prevent the drum from grinding the product. Sifting efficiency is maximized at approximately 25 sq ft of screening area per section.

Gentle Roll™ Wood Pellet Screener Advantages

Since every facility is different, each Gentle Roll™ is designed specifically for the individual customer’s needs. The Gentle Roll™ is minimal to maintain, built to run continuously, and uses only the highest quality materials.
